Patricia Bonaldi draws from nature, landscape design, and Brazil’s artisanal savoir-faire to shape a contemporary vision of the country.
Brazilian nature serves as the starting point for PatBO’s latest collection. Presented on September 15 during New York Fashion Week, Brasil Esplêndido marks the brand’s Spring 2027 collection.
Under the creative direction of Patricia Bonaldi, landscapes and elements of Brazil’s natural world are reimagined through hand-embroidered details, sheer textures, sculptural volumes, original prints, and fluid silhouettes. Craftsmanship, a defining signature of PatBO, takes center stage in a collection that embraces Brazilian references without ever approaching them too literally.
“Bringing PatBO to New York is always a very special moment, but this season, there is an even stronger sense of belonging. This collection comes from Brazil, from its exuberance, its landscapes, and the strength of our identity, translating all of that into a language that speaks to the world. More than presenting a collection, it is a way of showcasing the richness and creative power of our country through fashion,” says Patricia Bonaldi.
Brasil Esplêndido also marked the debut of PatBO’s first eyewear collection. Produced entirely in Italy, the line features a range of sunglasses and is slated for its official launch in October. Alongside ready-to-wear, handbags and footwear also took on a prominent role this season, expanding the brand’s universe beyond clothing.
Beauty followed the same visual language as the collection. Created by hair artist Leoni in partnership with Keune, the hair look drew on references to modernism and the curves found throughout the prints, particularly the blue-toned Wave Maré motif, translating the collection’s organic shapes into movement. Makeup was created by Natura Una, enquanto HOPE joined the presentation in the intimates category.
