A Porsche n\u00e3o come\u00e7ou como uma marca. Ela come\u00e7ou como um problema a ser resolvido entre um pai e um filho.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Antes do bras\u00e3o, antes das pistas, antes de qualquer mito global, Ferdinand Porsche<\/a> j\u00e1 era um dos engenheiros automotivos mais influentes da Europa. Sua trajet\u00f3ria passou pelo centro da inova\u00e7\u00e3o industrial do in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo vinte, incluindo trabalhos para a Mercedes Benz, e depois por seu pr\u00f3prio escrit\u00f3rio de engenharia em Stuttgart. Um dos projetos mais determinantes que passaram por seu escrit\u00f3rio foi o conceito de um carro popular. Simples, resistente e acess\u00edvel. Essa ideia acabaria se materializando no Volkswagen Beetle, o Fusca, um autom\u00f3vel cuja arquitetura com motor traseiro, refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o a ar e l\u00f3gica mec\u00e2nica direta entraria para a hist\u00f3ria. O contexto pol\u00edtico daquele per\u00edodo \u00e9 corretamente analisado de forma cr\u00edtica, mas do ponto de vista da engenharia, o Fusca estabeleceu uma base estrutural que se mostrou surpreendentemente duradoura. No p\u00f3s guerra, foi Ferry Porsche, filho de Ferdinand, quem enxergou nessa base algo al\u00e9m do \u00f3bvio. Onde muitos viam apenas um carro utilit\u00e1rio, Ferry viu potencial. Utilizando componentes derivados do Fusca, ele come\u00e7ou a experimentar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E se o motor fosse aprimorado. E se o peso fosse reduzido. E se dirigir passasse a ser o centro da experi\u00eancia. Em 1948, essa inquieta\u00e7\u00e3o ganhou forma com o Porsche 356 No. 1 Roadster. Ele n\u00e3o foi concebido como objeto de luxo nem como estrat\u00e9gia comercial. Foi uma resposta pessoal a uma quest\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica. Aquele momento marcou a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da Porsche de um escrit\u00f3rio de engenharia em uma filosofia. Desde o in\u00edcio, a Porsche nunca foi sobre excesso. Sempre foi sobre refinamento. Sobre pegar algo que j\u00e1 existe e insistir que ele pode ser melhor. Mais r\u00e1pido, sim, mas tamb\u00e9m mais preciso, mais honesto, mais humano. Esse princ\u00edpio se tornaria o eixo silencioso da marca. Em 1963, ele encontrou sua express\u00e3o mais duradoura com o Porsche 911. Apresentado no Sal\u00e3o de Frankfurt, o modelo desafiou conven\u00e7\u00f5es com seu motor traseiro e silhueta inconfund\u00edvel. Muitos acreditavam que aquela configura\u00e7\u00e3o era um erro. A Porsche acreditava que ela podia ser aperfei\u00e7oada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ao longo de mais de seis d\u00e9cadas, o 911 evoluiu continuamente sem perder sua ess\u00eancia, tornando se um dos raros exemplos de continuidade real no design automotivo. O automobilismo nunca foi um acess\u00f3rio de marketing para a Porsche. Sempre foi um laborat\u00f3rio. Das provas de resist\u00eancia \u00e0s corridas de longa dura\u00e7\u00e3o, a competi\u00e7\u00e3o serviu para testar ideias no limite. A rela\u00e7\u00e3o da Porsche com as 24 Horas de Le Mans \u00e9 singular. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde sua primeira participa\u00e7\u00e3o em 1951, a marca acumulou dezenove vit\u00f3rias gerais e mais de cem vit\u00f3rias em classes, tornando se a fabricante mais bem sucedida da hist\u00f3ria da prova.
