\n\nO pr\u00e9dio na esquina de Fileira de Coco<\/a><\/strong> e Avenida Australiana<\/a><\/strong> O Hotel Lido-Venice, em Palm Beach, sobreviveu a quatro nomes, m\u00faltiplos fechamentos e a um s\u00e9culo inteiro da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o social da ilha. Inaugurado em 1926 como Lido-Venice, foi um dos muitos hot\u00e9is que surgiram ao longo da costa sudeste da Fl\u00f3rida durante o boom imobili\u00e1rio da d\u00e9cada de 1920, a febre especulativa que se seguiu. No interior, os quarenta e um quartos e su\u00edtes se desdobram em tons de linho, azul claro e branco natural, sobrepostos a superf\u00edcies que recompensam a observa\u00e7\u00e3o atenta. Os pisos de terrazzo s\u00e3o feitos \u00e0 m\u00e3o, com seus padr\u00f5es agregados variando sutilmente de um c\u00f4modo para outro. As paredes s\u00e3o revestidas com estuque veneziano, uma t\u00e9cnica de reboco com ra\u00edzes no V\u00eaneto do s\u00e9culo XVI. As pizzas de Giovanni, antes dispon\u00edveis apenas na trattoria reservada para os h\u00f3spedes do Hotel du Cap em Antibes, agora s\u00e3o servidas no Pool House do The Vineta, sendo esta a primeira vez que essas receitas saem do sul da Fran\u00e7a. O bar de frutos do mar crus agora inclui tacos de t\u00e1rtaro e ceviche de mahi-mahi, e o ambiente (com treli\u00e7as retr\u00f4 e detalhes arquitet\u00f4nicos ondulados) transmite uma atmosfera de glamour descontra\u00eddo, t\u00edpica de Palm Beach, sem se prender a nenhuma \u00e9poca espec\u00edfica de forma literal.<\/span>\n\n\n\nO que torna o The Vineta convincente n\u00e3o s\u00e3o seus detalhes individuais, embora cada um reflita uma especificidade que beira a devo\u00e7\u00e3o. \u00c9 a coer\u00eancia do pensamento por tr\u00e1s deles.
