LM: What was the first trip that completely turned you inside out \u2014 the one that left its mark even after the suitcases were back in the closet?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: Africa, without a doubt. It\u2019s a destination that connects you to nature in an almost inexplicable way. The people are incredible, and being close to the animals is transformative. In Rwanda, we went on a gorilla safari that lasted more than six hours \u2014 there\u2019s an entire ritual of preparation for that encounter. We also had unique experiences, like walking alongside elephants. These are moments that stay with you forever.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Is being in constant motion liberating, or does it sometimes weigh on the soul?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: Being on the move is absolutely liberating. I love discovering new landscapes, cultures, and experiences. Of course, I imagine that in another phase of life, with children, that might change. But for now, it\u2019s what drives me.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: What was the place that surprised you the most and revealed another version of yourself?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: Japan. Their culture is completely different from anything I had ever known \u2014 the organization, the respect, the politeness\u2026 It was a positive shock. I can\u2019t wait to go back and experience it all over again.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Have you ever encountered a culture that made you want to change the rhythm of your own life?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: In Japan, again. They are calm, respectful, and so considerate with one another. I remember a dinner where the restaurant owners walked us to the door and only turned their backs once we were completely out of sight. Small gestures that speak volumes.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: What was that moment when you stopped and thought, \u201cI can\u2019t believe I\u2019m here\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: During Dolce & Gabbana\u2019s<\/a> Alta Moda in Puglia. Several days of shows and events in small Italian towns. Everything was so beautiful, surreal, and culturally rich that it truly felt like a dream.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Traveling is also tasting the world. Which flavor stayed in your memory like a perfume that\u2019s hard to forget?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: A tagliatelle Bolognese in Bologna. The kind of flavor that lingers in your memory, almost like an emotional keepsake.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Is there a restaurant you hold close to your heart as a temporary home?<\/strong><\/p>

VH: Quadri<\/a>, in Venice. I always go back \u2014 everyone knows each other, the atmosphere is so warm and familiar. I truly feel at home there.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
