Last Friday, the 20th, the Hoepli Bookstore<\/a>\u2009\u2013\u2009one of Milan’s greatest cultural landmarks\u2009\u2013\u2009hosted the launch that continued Gucci Prospettive<\/a>. More than a book curated by Eva Fabbris<\/a> (director of the Madre Museum, Naples) in partnership with Giovanna Manzotti<\/a>, “Italiane Ancora” is an expression of gratitude for the brilliant work of Italian women artists who continue to inspire the brand’s creations today.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Works by 40 young artists and their muses star in the publication. They also represent the feminine force that inhabits the imagination of the creative director, Sabato De Sarno<\/a>, and materializes in the Women\u2019s Spring Summer 2025 collection, launched on the same day as the book at the Triennale Milano<\/a>. The printed pages featuring portraits, images, texts, and colors are the result of a fluid, vibrant, and collaborative process. The book was stitched together by many talented hands in a process that began with Fabbris\u2019s request for several artists to reveal three names of Italian women who influenced their creative journeys. The result went far beyond expectations, documenting not only the historical contribution of women to art but also their contemporary practices.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Those who visited the Hoepli Bookstore last Thursday through Saturday, in addition to honoring the act of paying tribute to Gucci\u2019s feminine sources of inspiration, had the opportunity to visit the exhibition curated by the brand itself, featuring works by female artists and art critics who have had a significant impact on Italian art and culture.<\/span><\/p>
