On October 17, Iguatemi S.A., a major enthusiast of both domestic and international fashion, hosted the first day of the 7th edition of Iguatemi Talks Fashion. The conference featured a diverse schedule, bringing together personalities from the fashion industry, design, sustainability, diversity, business, innovation, and creativity.<\/p>\n

The first day’s main plenary participants included Trey Lard, CEO and Creative Director of Laid + Partners<\/a>, a renowned creative agency in the fashion, beauty, and luxury markets, who discussed \u201cThe Power of Branding in the Luxury Market\u201d with Andr\u00e9 Mellone<\/a> e Maria Prata<\/a>. Marina Santiloni<\/a>, Customer Experience Manager for Latin America at WGSN, addressed the new trends cycle.<\/p>\n

After the lunch break, the talks continued with influencers Malu Borges<\/a>, Lele Burnier<\/a>, e empreendedor Bruna Tavares<\/a>, who shared their perspectives on how the TikTok platform influences fashion consumption, along with Gabriela Comazzetto<\/a>, Head of Global Business Brazil.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lauren Santo Domingo<\/a>, co-founder of Moda Operandi and current director of the Home line at Tiffany & Co, also offered insights into her successful career in fashion and design. Another panel featured influencer Pequena Lo<\/a>, who shared her journey alongside plus-size fashion and market specialist Dani Rudz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the talks, the 7th edition of Iguatemi Talks Fashion hosted workshops on contemporary themes. Fashion Revolution, for example, offered a workshop on \u201cSustainability and Upcycling\u201d with Suelen Ingrid, founder of the sustainable brand AfroIsh<\/a>, who is also known as a cultural coordinator and executive producer. At the same time, fashion director Rita Lazzarotti<\/a> led a styling workshop.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

To reinforce the philanthropic nature of the event, Iguatemi will allocate 10% of the revenue from ticket sales to IN-MOD (National Institute of Fashion and Design). Founded in 2004, IN-MOD is a non-governmental, non-profit organization whose mission is to work, both domestically and internationally, for the recognition and visibility of Brazilian fashion and design as value-added segments.
