The ceremony and reception for 900 guests took place at the home that houses the Yunes Art Collection and featured a glass pyramid approximately 13 meters high and a truly magical garden.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Art advisor Camila Yunes Guarita<\/strong> and entrepreneur Conrado Mesquita<\/strong>, owner of the Galatea gallery, gathered approximately 900 guests this Saturday (20) for a grand wedding ceremony at the family’s historic mansion in Jardim Europa. Built in 1935, the space now houses the Yunes’ encyclopedic collection (CIJY \u2013 Ivani and Jorge Yunes Art Collection) and adds even more sentimental memories to the couple’s celebration.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Emblematic Scenography<\/b><\/em><\/p>

<\/p>

The art-loving couple left no stone unturned to create a truly unique and scenographic wedding, as highlighted by the set designer, Felippe Crescenti. \u201cCamila didn\u2019t want a clich\u00e9 wedding. She wanted to tell stories in every detail, so we didn\u2019t do wedding decor, we created a scene,\u201d says the expert. According to the bride, the wedding\u2019s mood moves between modern, contemporary, and classic, integrating the works of art from the Yunes collection and the mansion\u2019s beautiful architecture into the project concept, such as the paper sculptures by artist Mira Haar created for the wedding.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

\u201cI wanted to create a contrast between eras. So, for the religious ceremony held in the front garden of the house, we built a glass pyramid\u2014very contemporary but cozy, with many lights symbolizing the connection between earth and sky, the exchange of energies, and spirituality\u2014the idea is that our guests are embraced by light and elevated to a plane of sublimation. Then, to access the garden where the reception took place, guests walked through the house, which has a very classic style, decorated with several of our favorite works of art, and were greeted with a cocktail to the sounds of the String Quartet organized by George Freire in the first room,\u201d explained Camila Yunes Guarita, noting that George also handled the entire musical selection for the ceremony.<\/span><\/p>

Upon entering the space where the reception took place, the bride said that guests encountered a sort of magical garden, with many trees, foliage such as Spanish moss, and flowers right to the central dance floor. \u201cThe idea was for every detail of the wedding to be unexpected, for the reception to be discovered little by little, uniting different universes from the ceremony to the reception. I think Felippe captured each of my ideas for the conception of this grand project like no one else,\u201d the art advisor emphasized.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Camila also said that one moment at the end of the ceremony moved her deeply. \u201cThe entire wedding was thought out in detail, but the exit of the couple and their godparents featured an enchanting surprise: we had a flash mob, in which part of the OSESP orchestra choir emerged from among the guests singing \u201cAll You Need Is Love\u201d by the Beatles, just like in the scene from the film \u201cLove Actually.\u201d It was magical! Conrado and I couldn\u2019t have our hearts more full of love,\u201d the bride revealed.<\/span><\/p>

In terms of gastronomy, Buffet Lepicerie was entirely inspired by French menus, particularly those of chef Anne-Sophie Pic. Additionally, all six thousand units of the party\u2019s candy liners were handmade by an artisan, who took six months to craft them. The event was coordinated by Toda de Branco and featured a performance by singer Evy.<\/span><\/p>

The Couple<\/b><\/em><\/p>

For the religious ceremony, the bride chose an exclusive gown by designer Gl\u00f3ria Coelho, featuring hand-embroidered paintings by artist Sandra Cinto referencing the creation of the universe (the Big Bang) as a parallel to the beginning of the couple\u2019s love story. The dress also has a three-meter-long silk train. Camila will also wear jewels that belonged to Princess Isabel, a family heirloom from her mother\u2019s collection. During the reception, she selected another Gl\u00f3ria Coelho gown, more voluminous with pleated organza layers and a structured corset, inspired by a collection the designer launched in the 2000s; the dress transforms during the reception into a shorter style.<\/span><\/p>

To complete the look, the advisor\u2019s beauty was created by Homero Mancilha. The bride entered with her bouquet inspired by Queen Elizabeth II to the sound of \u201cOnly Time\u201d by Irish singer and musician Enya. The groom chose a Summer look by Tom Ford to walk down the aisle alongside his daughter, Celina, accompanied by the classic \u201cThe Look of Love\u201d by Burt Bacharach, moving all the ceremony guests.<\/span><\/p>

The couple, who have been together for three years, met in 2016 at an art fair in New York\u2014the Armory Show\u2014where Camila was a VIP Representative and the entrepreneur was showcasing works in a booth from his gallery. A love built on friendship and mutual interest in the art world, which culminated in an elegant, minimalist civil ceremony held in March 2023. Next week, the couple will honeymoon on the west coast of the United States, including a stop in Tahiti.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
