LM: Where were you born and raised?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> S\u00e3o Paulo city \u2013 married to a Carioca, but I consider myself the most Paulista possible!!!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Has fashion always been a passion since childhood? If so, tell us a story that exemplifies this.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> Always. From a very young age I remember choosing my own clothes or stomping my foot to do so haha. While most girls my age wore puffed dresses, I went to little parties in riding-style leggings and a denim shirt. I think I was already adding my own touches when dressing up!<\/span> Also \u2013 I have a very shopaholic mom, and I\u2019ve always been her companion in this \u201csport\u201d \u2013 it was trips upon trips stopping at every store and I never got tired \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Do you have hobbies? If so, what are they?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> A few. <\/span>Pilates \u2013 I love it, I do it twice a week. <\/span>Fashion research on random sites \u2013 if I let myself, I spend the day browsing resale platforms. <\/span>Watching romantic comedies. <\/span>When I travel \u2013 I like to do everything on foot \u2013 I\u2019m tireless \u2013 anyone who\u2019s accompanied me knows!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: You worked for years at a fashion brand. What was your position and what was the routine like in that role?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> I worked for 8 years at Mixed! <\/span>I joined to launch the brand\u2019s e-commerce \u2013 we literally started from scratch. <\/span>Over the years I took on new roles \u2013 I worked as a franchise supervisor (they have stores in several states across the country), then I began helping with visual merchandising in stores \u2013 arranging the shops and window displays and taking the photos for the website \u2026 it was quite a learning experience!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LM: Today you create a lot of content around vintage pieces. Which inherited family items do you cherish the most?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> I\u2019m quite attached to my vintage pieces haha \u2013 not necessarily the family ones. But the items I keep with love are my grandmother\u2019s fur coats \u2013 and also the jewelry she had \u2013 I got married wearing her earrings!<\/span><\/p><\/div>

LM: What are your top vintage stores around the world?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> The RealReal (USA) \u2013 not only vintage, but with affordable finds (especially online).<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Amarcord Vintage (NY) \u2013 really cool curation, super vintage and unique finds.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Sand Archivio \u2013 I became friends with Alessandra (the owner) who has an incredible curation and lives in Berlin \u2013 she\u2019s another vintage lover and goes on extensive hunts for pieces across Europe.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Cavalli e Nastri (Milan) \u2013 I discovered it last year and it\u2019s already on my favorites list \u2013 lots of Herm\u00e8s items, among other brands, I loved it.<\/span><\/p>

Relik (London) \u2013 this one is different, with more WOW finds \u2013 really cool to check out too!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

BA:<\/strong><\/em> Barraca Paraiso do Leblon \u2013 my go-to beach spot.<\/span><\/p>

Meat pastel + strawberry a\u00e7a\u00ed + custard apple juice with passion fruit from BB Lanches.<\/span><\/p>

Post-beach lunch at SABOR DOC.<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Dinner at Sushi Leblon.<\/span><\/p>

LM: What does no one know about Bruna Azem?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

BA:<\/strong><\/em> Hmmm \u2013 I consider myself quite open and spontaneous \u2013 so anyone who spends time with me knows exactly how to read me\u2026 Now what no one knows (which is hard) \u2013 I think about the look I\u2019d wear even to events I\u2019m not necessarily attending (haha \u2013 I do this frequently). I guess that\u2019s it \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
