LM: Como come\u00e7ou seu interesse por moda e conte\u00fado criativo?<\/i><\/b><\/p>

Shelcy<\/b>Eu j\u00e1 desenhava e organizava desfiles de moda em casa quando tinha nove anos, ent\u00e3o a moda sempre fez parte de mim. Crescendo no Haiti, eu n\u00e3o conseguia descobrir exatamente como transformar essas habilidades em uma carreira, mas meus pais sempre incentivaram minha criatividade. Ent\u00e3o, desde cedo, dominei o vocabul\u00e1rio da moda.<\/span><\/p>

Christy<\/b>Eu era um pouco... moleca<\/em> Quando eu era pequena, meu interesse por moda come\u00e7ou no in\u00edcio da adolesc\u00eancia. Mas eu sempre tive um olhar apurado para a arte e era obcecada por assistir a v\u00eddeos do YouTube, ent\u00e3o, quando me tornei adolescente, comecei a desenvolver meu senso de moda.

<\/span><\/p>

LM: Qual \u00e9 a sua maior conquista at\u00e9 agora nesses anos trabalhando online?
<\/i>For\u00e7a e condicionamento:<\/b> Nossa maior conquista foi cultivar uma comunidade maior do que jamais imaginamos em torno de um tema t\u00e3o importante para n\u00f3s. Em 2020, criamos um programa informal de mentoria, conectando mais de 50 profissionais negros com suporte especializado gratuito em suas \u00e1reas de atua\u00e7\u00e3o. Tamb\u00e9m realizamos mais de 25 eventos desde 2017, para um total de 1.000 pessoas. A lista \u00e9 extensa, mas tudo se resume ao impacto que causamos em nossa comunidade.

LM: Voc\u00ea tem algum ritual de beleza que pratica todos os dias?
<\/i><\/b>S&C<\/strong>Fora da nossa rotina di\u00e1ria de cuidados com a pele, tentamos beber bastante \u00e1gua, pois isso promove a sa\u00fade e o brilho da pele. Mas n\u00e3o somos muito f\u00e3s de rituais de beleza.

A rotina da cidade tamb\u00e9m nos incutiu os valores da coragem e do trabalho \u00e1rduo. Tudo isso nos trouxe benef\u00edcios tanto pessoais quanto profissionais, mas, resumindo: Nova York nos tornou pessoas melhores. Mais compreensivas, intelectualmente mais equilibradas, mais gentis e mais abertas.

Agora, prestamos aten\u00e7\u00e3o a detalhes como a constru\u00e7\u00e3o, a harmonia de certas combina\u00e7\u00f5es e como isso expressa nossa personalidade. Para ser sincera, est\u00e1 em constante evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, mas nos permitimos experimentar com uma grande variedade de marcas e silhuetas.
