LM:<\/strong> Hi Sofia! To start, let\u2019s do a quick rapid-fire to introduce you to our readers. Where are you from? Did you grow up in your hometown?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> Hi everyone! I\u2019m from Madrid, Spain, and yes, I grew up there. Born and raised.


LM:<\/em><\/strong> Tell us a bit about your family, your siblings, relatives, and their nationality.<\/em>
S:<\/strong> I have only one brother, and both he and my parents are from Spain as well. A family of Spaniards.


LM:<\/em><\/strong> What did you study in higher education and what were your favorite subjects?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> I majored in journalism, and I absolutely loved my history, art, and literature classes.


LM:<\/strong> And what about your hobbies?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> I love traveling; it\u2019s one of my greatest passions. Also boxing, something that relaxes and entertains me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

LM:<\/em><\/strong> How did you begin your career in the publishing world?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> I started working at Vogue Spain at 21; I was a fashion editor for just over four years. From there, I went to Harper\u2019s Bazaar Spain. In both roles, I managed to have my own section in the magazine and it was an incredible learning experience, also allowing me to gain a broader understanding of fashion communication\u2014until I founded my own communications agency, All About Management, with two partners.


LM:<\/em><\/strong> Wow, that\u2019s great. And what positive aspects has Spain itself brought to your business?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> Spain is the country I come from and where I grew up, and in terms of professional development, one\u2019s birthplace always makes things easier: you understand how people think and act, the journey of brands and the industry\u2014everything\u2014much better than in another country. Made in Spain is becoming increasingly popular; there is a lot of talent and great work in Spain. Moreover, it\u2019s a fantastic place to communicate or even host events\u2014we love celebrating everything.


LM:<\/em><\/strong> What do you enjoy most about your work in the editorial office?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> I\u2019ve always loved anything creative; I couldn\u2019t work in anything that wasn\u2019t creative, and writing is perhaps one of the things that allows you to express that creativity.


LM:<\/strong> We\u2019ve noticed you love writing. But how did your passion for fashion emerge?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> My mother is a historian and fashion designer; she took me to shows when I was little and always passed on her passion for the industry. At around 12 or 13, I started consuming fashion magazines, looked at every collection I could find online, read everything I could about the industry, and before I knew it, when I started working, I already had a solid background in the field.


LM:<\/strong> For you, what is the role of journalism in today\u2019s fashion?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> Even though street style is very accessible to everyone thanks to social media, or collections are less than a second away from everyone\u2019s reach, the journalist and their professional vision will always provide context and can offer more in-depth information on everything. It is the journalist\u2019s role, then, to deliver complete, explanatory, and immersive information.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

LM:<\/em><\/strong> Still talking about fashion, how would you define your style?<\/em>
<\/em>S:<\/strong> I like to feel empowered in my clothes. From that standpoint, I don\u2019t think I can define my style specifically. These days, I wear a lot of timeless pieces, sometimes with subtle hints of sensuality.


LM:<\/em><\/strong> Tell us: what\u2019s your favorite wardrobe item today? And what brand is it?<\/em>
<\/em>S:<\/strong> My Chanel 2.55 bag, without a doubt. For me, it has emotional significance; it\u2019s classic and I honestly love it.


LM:<\/strong> Now, a bit about work: How did the idea for All About come about?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> My partners Paula, Lourdes, and I had been working in the communications field for some time and saw how many mistakes we experienced day to day. We wanted to take our own approach and at the same time bring brands closer to social media in the right way, since even today, as a practically new field, there are many questions about it and how to work in it.


LM:<\/em><\/strong> What\u2019s the most fun thing you\u2019ve ever designed?<\/em>
S:<\/strong> We design many of our clients\u2019 monthly events, so I think that would be it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

LM:<\/strong> Speaking of Sofia the Traveler, what are your favorite destinations? And we\u2019d like recommendations for where to have breakfast, lunch, brunch, or even dinner.
<\/em>S:<\/strong> That\u2019s a tough question; there are so many places. I love Charr\u00faa and Fismuler in Madrid, Gjelina\u2019s in Los Angeles, Caviar Kaspia and Loulou in Paris, Pura Vida in Miami. Lots of options.


LM:<\/strong> Where do you feel the most beautiful?
S:<\/strong> In Los Angeles\u2014I simply love it.

LM:<\/em><\/strong> If you could say something to your 15-year-old self, what would you say?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Everything that\u2019s to come will be better than you ever imagined.”<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

LM:<\/strong> Your Instagram is simply amazing; what are your inspirations? Which accounts do you follow?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> I love following brands like YSL; their account is simply everything. I also draw inspiration from small, creative pages. Currently, my obsession is TikTok\u2014it\u2019s simply addictive.


LM:<\/strong> What do you love most about yourself?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> The fact that I always have a clear idea of what I like and want. I feel lucky and I love that about myself.


LM:<\/strong> Which book changed your life?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> It wasn\u2019t one specific book, but Isabel Allende\u2019s works always move me.


LM:<\/strong> What foods make you feel at home?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> Cocido, my favorite, a typical dish from Madrid.


LM:<\/strong> Who are your top three fashion icons?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> They would have to be Kate Moss, Caroline of Monaco, and Cher.


LM:<\/strong> Finally, what\u2019s the best advice you\u2019ve ever received?
<\/em>S:<\/strong> To be kind and humble; you never know when you will be on the other side.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
