A private club whose main goals are: to be a second home<\/em> wherever you are and to foster creativity through interaction among its members in a sophisticated and elegant environment. This is what Soho House has been offering for more than 25 years, with 27 houses in 10 different countries and the new opening in Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest opening took place in March in the heart of San Lorenzo, one of Rome\u2019s most artistic neighborhoods. Just steps away from Sapienza University, the new Soho House is located in a 10-story building, with 49 rooms and 20 apartments for longer stays. In addition, the venue features a terrace with a 360\u00ba view of the city, complete with a pool, bar, restaurants and the first physical Soho Health Club, a space focused on guests\u2019 health and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Soho House unit was entirely designed by the club\u2019s in-house team and draws inspiration from the Pastificio Cerere Foundation building\u2014a local 1970s factory used as an exhibition space and artists\u2019 studios. This time, the team also designed the building\u2019s fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But despite the novelty in the Italian capital, Soho House has been making history for 27 years, since Nick Jones founded the first club specifically for artists, screenwriters, designers and fashion creators on Greek Street in London. The origin of the name is no secret: it was called Soho House because it was exactly what it was\u2014a Georgian house in London\u2019s Soho.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays, with houses in London, Hong Kong, India, the United States, Canada, Spain, Israel, France, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Greece and now Italy, Soho House still plans to open new locations soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
