From modeling to wellness, from fashion to life in the French countryside, Danielle Copperman has built a path guided by intention.<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At her home in the French countryside, Danielle Copperman dresses almost in opposition to her professional life. Short embroidered cotton dresses, microshorts, vintage jeans, and oversized tees have become her summer uniform. Her work, on the other hand, revolves around occasionwear and bridal looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a particularly intense summer, she took a few weeks off before September. Her days have been spent with her husband and dog, picking back up a renovation that started in 2025 and soaking up the cooler stretch of the French summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a much slower pace than the one that defined the start of her career. Copperman started modeling while still in school, at 15, before moving from Bath to London to pursue it full time. Getting into the industry so young put her in touch with an intensely creative world and shaped the independence that, years later, would lead her to run her own projects. After years of nonstop work, fashion was shifting, moving away from the traditional model of editorials and commercial campaigns toward something faster and increasingly digital, and Copperman started looking for something deeper in her everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s when she turned to nutrition and holistic wellness, studying different therapies and sharing what she learned through a blog. She launched a food brand, published a cookbook in 2018, and started bringing her two worlds together, catering backstage at fashion shows while still modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That overlap lasted until the pandemic forced another shift, Copperman started producing fashion shoots at home with her then-boyfriend, now husband. Without the usual production setup, she took on styling, direction, and image production herself, on top of appearing in front of the camera. The process reconnected her with the exact part of fashion that had always drawn her in: the act of creating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around the same time, her wedding went viral on social media after photos spread online, bringing a whole new audience to her work. She started sharing more fashion and lifestyle content, finally letting interests that had once lived in separate parts of her career come together in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her pull toward a slower life predates her interest in wellness, Copperman grew up in a small village in the English countryside and remembers how her body and mind would instantly relax the moment she got on a train out of London to visit her parents. After more than a decade in the city, she and her husband finally decided to build a life in the French countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contrast became especially clear over the years: she trained in yoga, massage, and reiki, surrounded herself with practices meant to make her feel better, and built a business around a lot of those ideas, but her stress levels were at an all-time high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Changing her environment became a priority, and little by little it stopped being just an occasional escape and became part of her routine. In France, she and her husband buy local, seasonal food and rarely eat anything processed. At home, they go for non-toxic products, something Copperman also applies to skincare and makeup, reading matters to her, and so does time away from screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To her, living more slowly has less to do with following some preset lifestyle and more to do with a practice of attention, paying attention to how an environment, a routine, or a habit actually makes her feel, instead of buying into it blindly just because it looks like the “healthy” or “productive” choice on paper. That mindset fits naturally with a career that’s never stayed in one lane for long. Modeling led her to wellness; wellness turned into entrepreneurship; closing that business made room for fashion to come back through styling, direction, and production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, though, work has taken a back seat. In September, occasionwear and bridal come back into focus. Until then, there’s the still-unfinished renovation, cooler days in the French countryside, time with her husband and dog, and a wardrobe of cotton dresses, vintage jeans, and oversized tees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
