A fashion influencer for more than 10 years, fashionista, entrepreneur and designer Anne-Laure Mais<\/a>, known online as Adenorah, has shown just how many roles she can take on in a profession that once began simply as a pastime and hobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With nearly 700,000 followers on Instagram, Adenorah says she is also investing in other platforms, which have helped her continue growing her own brand, Musier Paris, founded in 2018. With her beauty, attitude and unmistakably Parisian style, she attracts more fans each year as she shares her creative wardrobe and minimalist lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who may not know her work, Anne-Laure Mais has collaborated with several fashion brands, including the French labels Jonak and Leon & Harper, and today she is living the dream of leading her own project, creating essential pieces for the contemporary, independent woman who wants a chic and effortless wardrobe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside her work as an influencer and creative, she divides her time between her baby son and her family. Cats are also one of Anne\u2019s great passions and bring a sense of calm to her everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lifestyle Mag: You have been in the fashion world for more than 10 years. What has changed during this decade in the online business and the fashion business?<\/strong>
Anne-Laure Mais: Almost everything, hahaha! Things are moving so fast and changing all the time, especially since Covid, I think. The pandemic pushed people to be more creative, which is a good thing, but you always have to innovate and find new ways to communicate across all the different platforms, and now there are so many: Instagram, TikTok, BeReal, the press. People want to see more authenticity now, so we have to adapt our content.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: When you started your blog, did you ever imagine the success you would have? What made you start?<\/strong>
ALM: I couldn\u2019t have imagined it, especially because when I started, it was not really a job, it was just a hobby. My blog was simply a way to share my passion for fashion. I was completely passionate about it, and I discovered the world of fashion blogs through a magazine, which is how everything started.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: How has social media changed since you first came onto the scene 10 years ago? How do you see it evolving?<\/strong>
ALM: It started with blogs, then Instagram came along and, more recently, TikTok. As I said before, the biggest change is that people want to see more authenticity. They want to see us as naturally as possible. The style of photography has also changed a lot since the beginning. During the blogging era, we needed to have the best camera possible, while now it is more about going back to those early 2000s digital cameras.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: Social media usually receives a lot of criticism when it comes to portraying unrealistic body images and lifestyles. Is this something you have struggled with throughout your career?<\/strong>
ALM: Not really. I think I have always been authentic, showing my real clothes and my real body.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: You are used to front rows during fashion month. Which designers do you feel close to?<\/strong>
ALM: Nensi Dojaka, Nicolas Di Felice\u2019s Courr\u00e8ges, and the most recent Miu Miu shows have been epic.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: You are the founder of Musier. How did you decide to start your own brand?<\/strong>
ALM: It was a dream I had always had, but I met the right people at the right time, who are now my partners. Just before launching the brand, I created two capsule collections with different brands, which allowed me to see that people were interested in my designs, so I knew I was ready for it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: Musier is now a major business, and the brand is available at major stores in the United States and Europe, including Galeries Lafayette, Bloomingdale\u2019s and Selfridges. What are the ups and downs of an operation like that?<\/strong>
ALM: Wholesale is not really my side of the business, but I would say there are mostly upsides. It is a way to increase our visibility around the world without taking on the costs involved in opening a store.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: How do you choose your muses?<\/strong>
ALM: It can be a friend of a friend whom I meet at a dinner or a party, but it usually happens through Instagram and, increasingly, through TikTok, where girls tend to show themselves in a more natural way.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: We are obsessed with your new collection, and the velvet trench coat is a must. There are so many amazing pieces. Do you have a special story behind one or some of them, perhaps a top that reminds you of someone important from your childhood or of a fashion icon?<\/strong>
ALM: The Edouard pull parfait is a sweater that I used to steal from my boyfriend. It has the perfect oversized shape in the perfect soft and comfortable material, and I could wear it every day. The Linda dress is also inspired by Halle Berry\u2019s red carpet looks from the 1990s.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: What do you do to stay cool, calm and collected in moments of stress?<\/strong>
ALM: I pick up my cat, hold it in my arms and breathe.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: What is one brand that has been passed down from generation to generation in your family?<\/strong>
ALM: Vintage Levi\u2019s 501s and Courr\u00e8ges basics.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: Our readers love a good insider guide. What are your top five restaurants in Paris, and what are your top three caf\u00e9s?<\/strong>
ALM: Horto, Apicius, Aux Pr\u00e9s by Cyril Lignac, Septime and Girafe. For caf\u00e9s, Les Deux Magots.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LM: Have you been to Brazil? If so, tell us where. If not, is there somewhere you would like to visit?<\/strong>
ALM: Yes! I went to Rio and Florian\u00f3polis. It was the first trip I took with my husband, and it was absolutely magical. I cannot wait to go back and visit Len\u00e7\u00f3is Maranhenses.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
